I just heard from our broker</b></font>, and she's sending us a copy of the agreement, signed by the seller. It looks like this thing may actually happen!
Now all I have to do is drive 400 miles (each way) to participate in the sea trial and survey, and assuming everything is copascetic, pay for the boat... make any needed repairs/changes... fill out reams of paperwork... find a Georgia coastal marina to be the boat's permanent home... get insurance... guilt my kids into looking after my house... drive 400 miles (each way) again... provision and cast off... spend inordinate amounts of money on fuel to move the boat up the intracoastal waterway... ... ....
You get the picture.
