This is a placeholder post, not a real one. It was originally intended to give me an idea what my blog looks like in "preview" mode, but now it just marks the day that I created this blog on Blogger/Blogspot.
I've been getting a lot of SPAM as comments on the other server, so in hopes that Blogger has better SPAM filtering, I'm going to be moving my existing blog here. Neither the blog host I've been using, nor this one, provides any satisfactory means of export and import for anything like a common format, however, so it could take awhile to complete the move.
That being the case, I'm not going to move the comments from the old host. It would take a tremendous effort to try to sort out the valid comments I've been getting from the SPAM. Even at that, it's a good thing I'm not planning a whole lot of new posts in the near future!
