The Great Boat Hunt - Unplugged

Okay. The time limit on my offer has expired, and I've still not received any realistic counter-offer from the seller, so I sent the broker a note telling him that the offer is no longer available. I can't wait forever for people to find their sanity.

Turns out that none of the offers took the boat. The broker thinks that after some more time on the market the seller may rethink his position, but that right now it would take somewhere around 24-25K to buy the boat.

I wish we had been able to make a deal on on this one, but I guess it wasn't in the cards.  My best wishes to the broker, the seller, and the buyer.

Another broker has recommended a couple of likely prospects, and I'll be travelling to Florida in February to get a look at them.  I may take another look at one we saw on our last trip.
